Discovered around town:
A beautiful old metal bird shaker, his head screws off. Unfortunately he is missing one of his claws. I have therefore provided him with:
2 tiny wooden shoes, keychain charms which say in gold letters on their sides "Eternal Treehouse". The Eternal Treehouse is a cave in what is left of a giant sequoia in The Avenue of the Giants. Once home to native Americans, it now houses a small gift shop.
Anyway, the bird stands up straighter wearing one of these little sabots. However, he can still stand, though leaning, and the lovely little stool pictured above, which is is worn red checkered velvet and gilt affair with metal legs.
The bird is 5 inches long, the stool is 3 inches in diameter, and the shoes are 1 1/2 inches long.
Together, they constitute a sort of interactive assemblage, although I have merely brought them together.
