This ancient Greek helmet is cast in bronze with verdigris patina
The Corinthian type of helmet appeared at the end of the 8th c. BC. and remain in use until the Classical period.
Similar helmets were worn by the Greeks during the Persian Wars.
The helmet stands on Greek black marble base
