This print is based on an original watercolor painting I did of a rose over twenty years ago. The colors may seem faded but it is exactly the way I painted it in soft, muted tones. The rose is a dusty, velvety red tinged with pink and plum. The print has retained the beautiful, velvety tones of the original image.
I love romantic, old-fashioned English gardens and I think this image evokes a sense of fragrant roses from a bygone era.
Unframed archival print

Materials: Epson Ultrachrome Inks on beautiful Japanese Velvet Fine Art Paper (100% cotton rag, 260 g/m², 19 mil)
The second photo shows how the rose appears on the 11 x 8½ paper. The image has been sized to fit perfectly in any 8 x 10 inch mat or frame (if trimmed). If you would like me to trim your print to 8 x 10, just select that option when you check out.
I spend ages on my prints to make sure that they look as close as possible to my watercolors. I print them in my studio on my Epson R1900 printer.
All monitors are slightly different so the colors appearing on your screen may vary from those of the print. In general, the colors of my prints are more delicate than what you may be seeing on your screen.
I will mail your print in a sturdy, rigid kraft envelope. The print will be enclosed in a cello sleeve and protected with extra cardboard. I will initial your print on the front and sign and date it on its back.
